A Year Ago Today || Consulate Apt - November 20, 2017

The day finally came for our Consulate Appointment. Unfortunately, cell phones are confiscated at security, so the only picture I have is outside the building.

Inside, we took oaths and also met with a U.S. Consulate Officer who went over our formal documents. These documents would make it so our son would become a U.S. Citizen the moment we touched down on U.S. soil.

After our consulate appointments, we headed back to the hotel for some swimming and then our favorite noodle shop for dinner!

Sweet Simeon and Tristan had, and still have a special bond. They were in the same orphanage together and Simeon remembers playing blocks with Tristan in the orphanage. We still, to this day, connect and we can’t wait to meet up again for a reunion!

The Muslim Noodle owner was so kind to us! His shop is so little and we literally took it over every time we went to eat there. Seriously some of the best food I have ever eaten!
